On the “Add New Ticket” page you will find the “Ticket Options Meta Box”, which gives you quick access to change some of that particular ticket’s features. You can quickly change the status of a ticket (Open, Closed, Answered), edit the topic from the Topic selection drop down and also edit the author.  Live author searching gives you a real time Author search of all the registered users on your site.

Additionally, on the Ticket Options Meta Box is the “Add To Knowledge Base” button, which allows you to copy a tickets contents into the Knowledge Management System to a new Article for you to begin editing to publish in your Knowledge Base.
